Amir is a Principal Engineer based at CGL’s Exeter office, who has worked on a variety of geotechnical and engineering projects across the UK. Amir has skills in engineering geology, soil and rock mechanics, soil and rock slope stability analysis, earthworks and landslides.
Amir is experienced in complex engineering geological and geotechnical investigations, including sites on active & relict landslides. He also has skills and experience in a variety of small to large earthworks projects, with involvement in the HS2 Old Oak Common scheme for several years. He also has experience in temporary works including working platform designs and the design of temporary haul roads.
In the Exeter office, Amir undertakes geotechnical analysis and assessments using a variety of software that can be used for geotechnical design purposes.
Outside of work, I am a speciality coffee enthusiast who enjoys brewing speciality coffee procured from all around the world. I enjoy employing the principles of soil mechanics and engineering to my brewing, in search of a forever better cup!
