CGL is a finalist for no less than six industry awards during May and June.

The organisers of the New Civil Engineer 100 Companies of the Year (NCE100) have already confirmed CGL is amongst the 100 most forward-thinking, innovative firms operating in civil engineering today.

Additional special awards will be made on 23 May for which CGL is a finalist:
• Talent Champion
• Diversity Champion
• and Excellence in Urban Living

CGL was shortlisted in 2017 as Talent Champion and Diversity Champion in recognition of CGL’s Career Pathways training programmes and diversity initiatives. The “Excellence in Urban Living” award is new for 2018, and CGL’s shortlisting reflects our work to enable development on brownfield land and thought leadership in managing risks from contaminated land.

On 6 June the 10th anniversary Ground Engineering Awards recognise the best projects and individuals in the sector including:
• CGL’s work to enable use of buttress piles for efficient deep basement construction in Battersea is shortlisted for the Award for Technical Excellence.
• Kirsty Poore, Chartered Senior Engineer is a finalist for the Rising Star award.
• CGL’s work for the deep basement at the Guildford Radisson Hotel is up for Project of the Decade.
