
As part of CGL’s commitment to manage quality within its business and minimise its impact on the environment, and moving towards an integrated SHEQ system, CGL’s quality and environmental management systems have just been revised and updated to meet the latest ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. The company’s Health and Safety system is due to be integrated with these standards when the Standard for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, ISO 45001, finally becomes available.
ISO 9001
ISO 9001:2015 certification is used worldwide as a benchmark for Quality Management Systems CGL’s Quality Management System has met the ISO 9001 Standard since 2002, and it has been instrumental in helping CGL make ongoing improvements to the services it delivers to clients.
ISO14001
CGL has an Environmental Management System which has met the ISO 14001 standard since 2003. CGL’s work often leads to major environmental improvements by enabling construction projects become feasible on contaminated or suboptimal land, providing homes or facilities for the future and cost effectively mitigating damage done by past generations. CGL is also in the process of recording its carbon footprint to make improvements in its operations over the years to come.
