We were delighted to be shortlisted finalist in four categories at the Ground Engineering Awards 2017 and celebrate these in London last week. They ranged from a Rising Star to the Ground Investigation Project of the Year and included two Geotechnical Best Project entries. This recognition followed on closely to our inclusion last month in the New Civil Engineer 100 Companies of the Year.

Ground Engineering editor Claire Smith commented “Entries to the GE Awards never cease to amaze me in terms of the innovation and challenges successfully overcome by the UK’s geotechnical sector – and this year is no exception.”

CGL Chairman Nick Langdon said “We are proud to sit alongside other industry leaders as finalists at the GE awards. To be selected for so many categories recognises CGL’s strengths in site investigation, geotechnical analysis, foundation and temporary works design as well as the high calibre of our staff. As double-award winners last year we offer our congratulations to all this year’s winners.”
