Richard Pennock at CGL Harrogate and a group of super-fit clients and partners took to the Yorkshire Dales for the ‘Carter Jonas LandAid Yorkshire Pedalthon’ on 12th May to raise money for property industry charity, LandAid.
The Carter Jonas LandAid Pedalthon is a Tour de France legacy ride that brings together firms in the region’s property industry to the spectacular setting of Yorkshire for a tough challenge that supports a great cause.
The CGL northern office never do things by half and chose the longest ride available, a mere 80 miles! The team took on some of Nidderdales most iconic climbs, with Trapping Hill, Two Stoops and Hartwith Bank before a more rolling and flatter section out to Boroughbridge and back to Masham.
The ride also celebrated the best of Yorkshire produce at feed stations and after the ride at Theakston’s Brewery in Masham where riders enjoyed well-earned drink and network with colleagues.
The event raised £16,500 for LandAid, which supports disadvantaged and vulnerable youngsters in the UK and tackles homelessness.
