CGL has achieved 66th place in the 2017 New Civil Engineer’s NCE100 Companies of the Year 2017. Given the magnitude of the whole construction industry who are eligible for inclusion, this is a great achievement for CGL.
The aim of the NCE100 ranking is to identify firms that best showcase and inspire civil engineering. The rankings are based on both employer and employee feedback, with face to face judging also involved. New Civil Engineer described these companies as “the firms that truly seek to deliver for clients and society at large by pushing boundaries in the areas that truly matter”.
CGL’s position in the NCE ranking was announced last night at an awards ceremony in Central London. CGL’s initiative for The Female Face of Civil Engineering was highly commended after being selected as one of eight finalists for a special award for Engineering Equality: Diversity Champion.
Our Post-Chartership Career Path programme for professional development at CGL was also selected as a finalist for the special award for Future Engineer: Talent Champion.
Ian Marychurch, Managing Director commented “The inclusion of CGL as one of the Top 100 Companies after undergoing a rigorous assessment process is rewarding for our business and recognises the efforts that small companies can make in changing the civil engineering environment for the better, for us all.”
