38 crackshots from the construction and property industry around Yorkshire (and beyond) enjoyed CGL’s third annual Clay Pigeon Shoot yesterday.
The contest was held at Knaresborough yesterday afternoon followed by informal drinks and barbeque at nearby pub Carriages.
Darren Chapman (who came second last year and gained an impressive score of 31 out of 35) at Dunster Consulting in Harrogate took away the prestigious winner’s shield which is proudly engraved with the names of the past winners since the contest began….in 2015.
Trophies for second and third prizes went to Rupert Visick (scoring 29 out of 35) at Gent Visick in Leeds and Simon Horne (score 28 out of 35) at SRH Design Solutions in Harrogate.
Two contestants from each team took part in a shoot-off using a pump-action shotgun. Winners of this mini contest were David Stanway from David Stanway & Associates and Kate Broadbank from Carter Jonas.
Last year’s winner, Rob Beagley at WSB Property Consultants commented “As always it was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon with a really good group. The lad from Hazelbank was spot on with his advice/tuition but I was too busy chatting with the other guests to be focused on hitting the clays!”
Thanks to all clients and partners for taking part!
