CGL are hosting a a breakfast seminar on Managing Construction Waste Liabilities on Tuesday 11th September at 8.30am at our London office at 12 Melcombe Place, set within Marylebone Station.
Jo Strange, Technical Director and Sarah Key, Principal Engineer at CGL Godalming will lead discussions on current waste management legislation, highlighting potential pitfalls and the implications of recent collaboration between the EA and HM Revenue and Customs. A selection of relevant case studies of recent projects will also be presented.
Areas covered will include:
- The definition of waste
- Waste management drivers
- Waste management options
- Application of CL:AIRE DoW CoP
- Implications of recent changes to the Finance Act with respect to Landfill Tax
- Case studies
Doors will open from 8am and bacon baps, pastries and refreshments will be served. The presentations will be from 8.30-9.15, with time afterwards for questions/discussion.
