    CGL is hosting a breakfast seminar on Managing Risks on Brownfield Sites and Construction Waste Liabilities on Wednesday 18th September 8.30am at the Players’ Lounge, Hotel Football in Manchester.  Having presented this briefing nationwide at our other CGL offices, it always proves to be a very popular and enlightening subject.     Marina Kirkpatrick, Principal Engineer at CGL, will lead discussions on ways that environmental risks and right practices can be managed to bring brownfield sites back into use.     Jo Strange, Technical Director based at CGL's Godalming office, will be chairing the Site Investigation and Risk Assessment segment at the Brownfield Investigation and Remediation Conference on Wednesday 9th October at the Millennium Gloucester Hotel in London.

    Technical Director, Jo Strange will be chairing the AGS conference on Commercial Risks & How to Manage Them on Wednesday 22nd January 2020 at the Manchester Conference Centre.

    This CPD conference is aimed at both junior and experienced ground engineers, who are interested in improving their knowledge and skills within this sector. The event will also be relevant to practitioners approaching Chartership, as well as those in smaller practices where there may be limited or no in-house legally qualified sources of help or advice.

    Attending delegates will be provided with an introduction of the guidance and advice provided by the AGS Loss Prevention Working Group, with particular attention being given to recent hot topics.
