Sarah McCourt
Sarah joined at CGL in 2008 after graduating from the University of Reading with an MSc (Distinction) in Soils and Environmental Pollution. Since joining as a Graduate Environmental Geologist, Sarah has progressed and become a Chartered Environmentalist with the IES before becoming an Associate with CGL in 2019.
Sarah has a wealth of experience in project management of geoenvironmental and geotechnical investigations from large scale residential developments to industrial sites and infrastructure projects. She is experienced in the supervision, planning and reporting of site investigations and remediation projects and in liaison with clients, local authorities and regulators to develop remediation option strategies and provide verification reports in order to discharge site specific planning conditions.
Sarah is a STEM ambassador and a member of both WISE and WES and was featured in CGL’s Female Face of Civil Engineering; a booklet designed to encourage young girls into engineering.
