Yesterday 15 students studying for GCSE Geography at Rodborough School in Surrey visited CGL’s Godalming office to find out more about ground engineering.
With Jo Strange, Adam Branson, Kirsty Poore and Jess Mc Dermott the students got hands-on experience of soil logging techniques, desk studies and finite element analysis in relation to CGL’s recent project at Prince of Wales Drive in Battersea, London.
Geography teacher David Ewing said “The kids really enjoyed the trip and found the content engaging and accessible. It was pitched at the right level and got them involved and interested.”
