Attributes to fill this role would include:
- Competence in the use of Eurocode design including piling, piled walls, foundations, temporary works, propping, soil nails, ground anchors and the planning, implementation and interpretation of site investigations;
- Experience in delivering detailed design engineering solutions, drawings and specifications including slope stability, earthworks, basements, deep excavations and/or retaining structures;
- Competent technical report writer;
- Ability to work in collaboration with other engineering disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design;
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients;
- Working towards Chartership with CEng or CGeol;
- A team player with a mature approach including first class inter-personal skills.
Knowledge of geoenvironmental engineering and its interaction with geotechnical design would be a benefit. You will be expected to combine site work with design work and investigation and project management in a dynamic office environment
