Senior Geotechnical Engineer, Bristol

Attributes to fill this role would include:

  • Competent in the planning, implementation and interpretation of site investigations;
  • Capable logging of soil and rock strata across all industry techniques;
  • Good understanding of engineering geology and ability to undertake geotechnical assessment of ground conditions and assign suitable design parameters to soils;
  • Understanding of geotechnical design solutions;
  • Appreciation of the interaction of and assessment of contaminated land aspects;
  • Ability to work in collaboration with other engineering disciplines to ensure the integrity of the overall design;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients;
  • Good project management skills and commercial awareness;
  • A team player with a mature approach including first class inter-personal skills.

You will be expected to combine site work with design work and investigation and project management in a dynamic office environment.
