Congratulations go to two CGL engineers who have successfully achieved new technical qualifications to add to the company’s competencies.

Chartered Senior Engineer Kimberley Neville has been registered on the Society of Brownfield Risk Assessment (SoBRA) Register of Risk Assessors, following submission of a professional report and an interview. She is now an Accredited SoBRA Risk Assessor (ASoBRA) for Controlled Waters and is registered as a SoBRA risk assessor for Human Health and Vapours (RSoBRA).

This designation recognises and rewards the technical skills associated with land contamination risk assessment. More details on the SoBRA risk assessment accreditation process are available at https://sobra.org.uk/accreditation.

Meanwhile Tom Bastable has passed his Engineering Technician Review to become a professionally qualified engineering technician (EngTech MICE).

Like Kimberley’s qualification, Tom is the first CGL person to achieve this particular qualification, so are pioneers of the processes involved. Tom’s result now completes a full set of CGL successes at all review levels of the ICE.
