Last Friday, saw Harrogate’s Team CGL take part in the sixth Carter Jonas Yorkshire Pedalthon, raising funds for Land Aid.

Not only did the team of 10 have the challenge of the Howardian Hills and the North Yorkshire Moors, but also the threat of torrential rain travelling up the country at a pace. All dressed out in the CGL designed cycle jerseys and caps, Team CGL comprised of a mix of CGL and their clients, including Adept, Towngate, KPP Architects and Caddick.

Starting and finishing at Castle Howard, the setting for Brideshead Revisited and Victoria, the three routes of varying lengths (75, 50 and 30 miles) were all scenic, had their challenges, like Blakey Bank, and amazing food stations, supported by Yorkshire producers.  The Team all made it back safely, with one hour to spare for those on the 75-mile route, before the heaven’s opened.

It was a successful day, raising over £20k for LandAid who’s mission is to end youth homelessness in the UK by 2026, click here for more information.
