Vincenzo Germano joined the team at CGL’s London office this month as Associate Director.
Dr Germano has over 15 years’ experience of geotechnical engineering specialising in computational geomechanics and the application of numerical analysis. He is experienced in soil structure interaction problems including tunnelling, deep excavations, retaining structures and foundation design.
Vincenzo has worked on projects in the capital involving soil structure interaction of deep foundations, excavations and retaining walls on tunnels, buildings and utilities including various London Underground and Network Rail lines.
Before joining CGL, Vincenzo also worked for Studio Cotecchia in Bari, Italy on geotechnical characterisation, modelling, numerical analysis and geotechnical design for ports and maritime infrastructure, energy projects as well as oil and gas infrastructure.
